Original Abstract

The paper focuses on design and validation of an active RFID platform, devoted to vehicle identification and authorization for the fueling in gas stations. The system is built on ANT communication protocol, which is intended for extremely low power consumption. The explosive environment of a filling station places special requirements on involved electronic devices -- the preferred way is a hermetic sealing of the complete device in an epoxy resin.
