Original Abstract

The study of the different types of surface roughness – depending on the three different sizes used during destructive loading experiments is the main topic of this paper. The specimens were subjected to modified compact tension tests (modCT). Concrete material was used so the quasi-brittle fracture is represented. Change of roughness (through fracture surface area) is in-vestigated by 2D laser profilometer scanning.
