Original Abstract

The digital demodulation of an output signal produced by the ultrasound blood flow detector is the topic of the presented work. The main effort led to application of modern digital signal processing algorithms and digital signal processors with very high computation power. As a heart of the presented system, Motorola DSP56805 digital signal processor has been used. Thanks to combination of the high-performance signal processor and the modern integrated development environment, the testing of sophisticated algorithms written in the C programming language was possible very effectively.
