Original Abstract

This contribution deals with the electrodynamic forces modeling in electrical apparatuses using the finite element method. The attention is focused on the proper implementation of current constriction influence on these forces in a numerical model. Two little bit different possibilities, which have been previously studied and verified with experimental results, are presented and compared. The practical usage of these methods in combination with ANSYS program, which was used for numerical evaluation of electrodynamic forces, is shown.
