Original Abstract

This paper deals with design of digital bandpass filters for fixed-point arithmetic that fulfills requirements of IEC 61260-1 standard for fractional-octave-band filters. The filters use coupled form and downsampling that provides good approximation of the relative attenuation for fractional-octaveband filters and good stability at low-power fixed-point microprocessors which are essential for energy-efficient processing in sensor networks. For the 16-bit resolution, the IEC 61260-1 Class 1 requirements are fulfilled for designed octave-band filters from 63 Hz and for third-octave-band filters from 50 Hz. Implementation of the IEC 61260-1 fractionaloctave-band filters in low-power noise sensors enables advanced measurements that conform international standards for noise measurements in the smart city or in other sensor network infrastructures.

Czech abstract

Tento článek se zabývá návrhem digitálních filtrů typu pásmová propust pro procesory s pevnou řádovou čárkou, které splňují požadavky normy IEC 61260-1 pro filtry se zlomko-oktávovými pásmy. Filtry používají vazební strukturu a podvzorkování, dobře aproximuji relativní útlum zlomko-oktávových filtrů a mají dobrou stabilitu při implementaci v mikroprocesorech s pevnou řádovou čárkou, které mají nízkou spotřebu a proto jsou nezbytné pro energeticky efektivní zpracování signálu v senzorových sítích. Navržené oktávové filtry splňují při 16bitovém rozlišení požadavky IEC 61260-1 třídy 1 v pásmech od 63 Hz a třetino-oktávové filtry v pásmech od 50 Hz. Implementace filtrů podle IEC 61260-1 v senzorech s nízkou spotřebou umožňuje pokročilá měření hluku, která odpovídají mezinárodním standardům pro měření hluku, ve smart-city aplikacích nebo v jiných senzorových sítích.
