Original Abstract

At present, a large number of photovoltaic power plants are built, whether ground or roof installations. All modules are subject to various weather conditions. These include, for example, rain, snow or wind. These phenomena can significantly affect module performance. At higher outdoor temperatures, the photovoltaic module will naturally heat up and, at the same time, heat losses occur when solar radiation is converted into electricity. Wind and airflow play significant role in natural cooling. The wind flow around the photovoltaic panels depends on many factors, such as the speed and wind direction and how the panels are installed, on the load-bearing structure. From the view of cooling, it is a very unstable and variable way of cooling. This article deals mainly with ground installations of PV power plants.
