Original Abstract

This work deals with the comparing antioxidant aktivity standards gallic acid, ferulic acid, qiercitrine and rutine with oxidative status model cell lines. The assay was carried out by methods DPPH, ABTS, DMPD, FRAP and free radicals. Antioxidant activity was determined individual standards in relation to time, concentration and temperature, compared the characteristics of each set of radicals and their antioxidant capacity. We decided to introduce fully automated assay of antioxidants using not only automated sample measurement but also processing of samples and application of reagents. Automated pipetting system epMotion 5075 and the automated spectrophotometer BS 400 were chosen for the assay purposes. All of the tested methods were found suitable for implementation in the automated assay. Owing to the capacity of the method, approximately 240 samples per hour (one sample per 15 seconds) can be assayed using the automated protocol.
