Original Abstract

This paper deals with the description of the new method for the education of the Sensors and measurement of the non-electrical quantities course and the Optoelectronics in control course. This new method is based on the virtual laboratories which should prepare the student for the practical laboratory exercises and improve the education of these courses. The goal of this project is to realize virtual laboratory exercises for MSc. and Bc. students who are attending these courses. There have been developed and realized more than ten virtual laboratory workspaces with different principles of the sensors. The project is realized in National Instruments LabVIEW 6i and all the virtual laboratories will be available for students on CD or via web pages.
