Original Abstract

The paper presents the basic Frequency Hopping technique used in the wireless Bluetooth system and its simulation by using Matlab. There is described a method of Frequency Hopping in the specific operating mode and illustrated the block diagram of the basic selection kernel. This paper deals especially with the Page mode and the program in Matlab is made to model of the Page hopping sequence. The program counts and draws the spectral lines in the ISM band and stops if it gets a response from a slave device or if the time interval is out. The response from the slave device is manually defined in the program for the present. The transmitting power level corresponds to the class 3 and is set to the value -20 dBm. The power level results from the measurement between devices with 2 meters spacing.
