Original Abstract

The article describes different types of SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) drivers in RTOS (Real-Time Operating System) environment. Each driver can be appraised from various perspectives e.g. throughput, CPU usage, etc. which result in different characteristics. The advantage of dissimilarities can be used to effectively satisfy software application requirements. The article presents drivers from throughput and idle time points of view. Analysis and data is related with PK22FN512 microcontroller and FreeRTOS.
