Original Abstract

A Variable frequency/amplitude sine wave resonant power source for electric discharge devices and high voltage application was designed. The range of resonant frequency was (depending on secondary circuit) from about 900 Hz up to 100 kHz. The efficiency much higher then by conventional "B" class or "C" class amplifiers can be obtained. The equipment design is discussed and some examples of the device use are given.
