Original Abstract

The goal of Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) is to obtain impedance distribution in the domain of interest and to apply this information. Images calculated by means of the EIT usually display spatial conductivity distribution in the region of interest. In this paper we propose a modified EIT method, in which some thin surfaces described by unknown surface conductivity and known geometry inside the considered region are taken into account. Different deterministic inverse methods are tested using 4 variants of regularization. The method should be utilized in nondestructive testing of modern carbon fiber honeycomb materials.
