Original Abstract

Working parameters of technical devices are determined by transport processes in gas mixtures and consequently the knowledge of transport properties of the mixture of reacting gases is very important. This paper deals with the electrical conductivity calculation of a partially ionized gas. The used method of the calculation is based on the kinetic theory of gases and on Chapman-Enskog method of the solution of Boltzmann kinetic equations. The value of the electrical conductivity also depends on the collision integrals values. The attention is devoted to the influence of different methods of collision integral calculation on the electrical conductivity values. In this paper the gas mixture of 50% Ar and 50% N2 by mass and the hard sphere model, Lennard-Jones potential, the polarizability method, Coulomb interactions were used.
