Original Abstract
Digitization, automation, cyber-physical systems and Internet of Things (IoT) is becoming increasingly widespread in small and medium-sized enterprises. The deployment and use of these funds increasingly in SMEs has a strong emphasis on the management with technical knowledge. On the other hand, management needs to have technical skills in order to communicate effectively with product realization phases and coordinate them. It has more and more emphasis on education focused interdisciplinary, it means educate managers with the necessary technical skills. Graduates with technical and managerial skills and meeting the requirements of business practice are successful on job market. Designing and developing of study programmes for higher education institution must meet the requirements of business practice, reflect new scientific knowledge and research in managerial and technical areas on the one hand, ensure continuity of subjects and increasing the effectiveness of teaching on the other hand. Design of a study programme is becoming increasingly difficult with traditional methods. Effective solution is to use methods of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) such as QFD (Quality Function Deployment). The article is focused on application of QFD for the whole technical and managerial study programme design and development.
