Original Abstract

This paper shows a way how to use the Internet for remote access to industrial devices. It discusses the possibility of using this access for condition monitoring and remote programming. It includes overview of different approaches to establish remote access. Their advantages and disadvantages in practical use are discussed and analysed. Paper also includes a device proposal for this purpose. It demonstrates achievements in the design of this device, the necessary steps to achieve the required functionality and compliance with safety. Proposals for individual parts of the overall system are given as well as the structure of these parts.
