Original Abstract

PVA solution in this article is doped with potassium hydroxide to increase the conductivity of membrane. Mixture of PVA and KOH is crosslinked and coated on the nonwoven polypropylene fabric sustain good mechanical properties of the membrane. The article also contains a comparison of the PVA/KOH membrane with a commercial product; the comparison is based on conductivity measurements and real electrolyser performance.
