Original Abstract

A probabilistic approach to nonlinear analysis of building structures is presented. The newly developed software sytem SARA combines efficient techniques of both nonlinear structural analysis and stochastic methods to offer an advanced tool for reliability assessment of structures. Finite element software ATENA with elite constitutive models is used for realistic prediction of structural response and its resistance.
