Original Abstract

The paper shows some aspects of the fracture-mechanical parameters of quasi-brittle materials for modeling of structural response and several methods for an appropriate identification of their mean values as well as stochastic variability. Selected examples document practical utilization of all the mentioned aspects: identification of the fracture-mechanical parameters of concrete and FRC, deterministic non-linear analysis of concrete (FRC) structures, and stochastic based reliability assessment.
