Original Abstract

Concrete-like materials models generally share in common some basic features of brittle materials such as pressure hardening, strain hardening and strain rate dependency. The elasto-plastic models are based on the condition of plasticity with the associative or non-associative plastic flow law. The modulus of elasticity of concrete is one of the most important parameters for determining the strain distributions and displacements. The numerical study was verified by an experiment carried out on the test specimen is a reinforced concrete wall with the dimensions 1000 mm x 1000 mm x 80 mm.
