Original Abstract

Integrovany obvod Spartan III je novy FPGA obvod od firmy Xilinx. Vyrabi se od rijna 2003 technologii 90 nm a pracuje s napajecim napeti jadra 1.2 V. Obvod je urcen pro aplikace pracujici s vysokymi kmitocty a velkymi obemy dat. Svoji nizkou cenou je vhodny hlavne pro vyrobky spotrebni elektroniky. V tomto clanku je strucne predstaven tento obvod a je v nem dale prezentovan navrh zkusebni a demostracni desky pro tento obvod. Tato deska bude slouzit pro mereni parametru obvodu Spartan III a pro jeho demonstarci studentum v laboratornich cvicenich. Deska je vybavena vstupy dat v podobe prepinacu a konektorem pro pripojeni dalsich obvodu. K zobrazeni dat slouzi LED diody a displej. Deska je dale vybavena porten JTAG pro konfigurovani obvodu Spartan III pomoci pocitace.

English abstract

The Xilinx Spartan-3 is a 1.2 V Field-Programmable Gate Arrays device. It is manufactured by Xilinx since October 2003 using 90 nm technologies. These devices are designed for high speed, high volume and low cost applications, especially for consumer electronics. Goal of my work is to make design of testing board with this device. This board will be used for parameters measurement of Spartan-3 for both simulating and for demonstrating this to students in laboratory lessons. Design board should have a data input provided by switches and I/O connector for connecting another board, etc. The board should have display and LED diodes for showing data. In addition the board should be supplied with JTAG port for programming the FPGA.
