Original Abstract

The article deals with confocal microscopy techniques that can be successfully used for adult cardiomyocyte viability monitoring. The main technique is designed to be available for long time measurements in confocal microscope chamber equipped with heating system and CO2 control system. The technique uses Calcein as viability indicator and time-resolved fluorescence measurements.
