Original Abstract

Submitted 2D-LC configuration is based on the gradient capillary-LC platform that we developed in the past. It consists of one syringe pump equipped with a high pressure syringe and two selector valves. Mobile phase gradients are created after successive sucking of solvent solutions to the gradient loops. Two capillary separation columns are connected via peek tee junction. 1 st dimension mobile phase flow is not continuous but short flow pulses are applied. When a short pulse is applied a certain volume is transferred to the 2 nd dimension column. Consequently, the flow path is changed and separation in 2 nd dimension column is performed.
