The second part of this study evaluated the presence of selected hormones (estrone, estradiole, ethynylestradiol, estriole, diethylstilestrole, norethindrone, mestranole and progesterone) in wastewater. The third part of this study was focused on the determination of phosphodiesterase 5 selective inhibitors in communal wastewater. These compounds are the main active ingredients of medicaments which are used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
