Original Abstract

The work presents and discusses the design and fully automated ground total ionising dose test of a CubeSat radiation experiment module which is currently being developed and built with the target launch in 2013. The experiment is designed as fully autonomous within the satellite and can be integrated with any future CubeSat or other picosatellite platform. The main research goal is to perform in-orbit measurements of the degradation of analogue and mixed-signal circuits and compare them with results of ground tests. Design details of the experiment as well as preliminary ground test results are published in this work.
