Original Abstract

In the field of power electronics and electric machinery it is often desirable to possess induction machine model. The model can be used for assessment of the current shapes and for the overall evaluation of the induction machine drive dynamic behavior. The paper deals with two matters. Firstly, the method for induction machine parameters identification is presented. The method considers magnetic saturation. Moreover, the method does not require performing blocked rotor test. Only knowledge of the induction machine loading characteristic is needed. Secondly, the paper presents an implementation of the induction machine drive model into Matlab/Simulink software.
