Original Abstract

Within the last years smart phones have become more and more part of our daily lives and the ability to provide enough charging energy for the phones is also becoming a great concern for researchers. The conversion of waste heat to electricity is part of the environmental energy harvesting methods, especially for low-energy consumption systems. This research aims to develop a thermoelectric system that can be used to harvest the consumed heat into electrical energy, which in turn is applied for charging mobile phones at public events.
