Original Abstract

Wavelet transform is still more favoured method in signal processing. Because the wavelet transform give an information about time-scale domain, it is used for de-noising of the signal too. Discrete wavelet transform is realized by a bank of filters, which have to match up to some conditions for perfect reconstruction. After the decomposition are wavelet coefficients thresholded. The value of the threshold can be set automatically. It emerged that algorithm for auto-valued threshold based on median filter give good results in viewpoint of thresholding and filtering.
