Original Abstract

Utilization of the optimization algorithm could be useful at design of radio-network, like GSM system. Optimization algorithm with can find the best locations, used radio cannels and transmitted powers of radio transmitters (base transient station in GMS system) can save the time and minimized costs. Genetic algorithms are the one of the latest methods. Their best advantage is the ability to optimization the complex tasks with have a lot of local minimums. This paper deals with the utilization of the genetic algorithm for optimization of GSM transmitters parameters on simplified example. Radio channel and emitted power of transmitters are parameters of optimization. Signal to noise ratio is the main criterion of optimization. Determination of usability and property of genetic algorithms to optimizing radio-network was the main purpose of this project.
