Original Abstract

Galvanic connection of sensors and actuators to the central control or measurement station is the most popular solution. There are lot of problems where is not possible to use standard metallic cable connection. In some cases is not possible to use cable connection (components are allocated on rotating elements or in hard to reach locations etc.), it is appropriate to realize interconnection by wireless radio communication network. For small range network (perimeter up to 100m) industrial Bluetooth standard can be applicable, where full Bluetooth stack and basic necessary functions have been defined. This standard also accepts requirements to assure high safety and security
