Original Abstract

The article sums results of the first phase of application possibilities research of low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) focused on usage in packaging and sensors. LTCC HeraLock 2000 from manufacturer Heraeus is studied with orientation on applications with requirements for air-tightness. Results of oxygen transmission rate measurement and seepage measurement are described.
