This paper concerns with optimization of discrete parameters of queueing networks (number of servers and length of queues before them). It presents an example of optimization of production system, which consists of four machines. Tabu search was chosen as an optimization method. The main goal of optimization is design of the cheapest system, which would satisfy given requirements.
