Original Abstract

Brass samples were chosen for plasma chemical reduction of corrosion layers. Model corrosion layers were prepared in two corrosion layers (acidic and alkaline atmosphere) and with/without sand at the sample surface. Samples were treated in low-pressure low-temperature hydrogen plasma for 120 minutes, pressure was about 150 Pa, hydrogen flow 50 sccm. The whole process was monitored by optical emission spectroscopy.
