Original Abstract
This article deals with the use of the Laguerre functions in electrical engineering. After the short introduction the definition of the Laguerre polynomials and functions is given. It is shown that the Laguerre functions can be useful in the dynamical systems modeling task. The idea how to model the linear dynamical system without the prior knowledge about the system order is explained and presented on two examples in MATLAB.
