On the project

V současné době probíhá výzkum a vývoj v oblasti efektivních obalových technologií budov s integrováním různých typů adaptivních podob.

Description in English
R&D in the field of efficient building envelope technologies is currently being conducted regarding the integration of various types of adaptive materials. The integration of new solutions enables the use of solar/thermal gains to improve the energy efficiency of buildings according to the European energy strategy for renewable solar energy. Theoretical prediction in connection with real characteristics and the performance of these solutions in climate responsive façade concepts are relevant research challenges. The project is focused on theoretical and experimental research into adaptive solutions implemented in façade concepts. New PV/PCM component and its façade integration will be developed, physically characterized, tested and optimized. The aim is to reduce reliance on conventional material solutions that meet the current requirements for the thermal insulation of building envelopes. The goal is to find an optimal level between the energy and environmental aspects of multifunctional building element.
