Deterministic, chaotic and stochastic phenomena in the sub-micron integrated structures

On the project

Project is focused on analysis, minimization and possible elimination of specific sources of randomness and malfunctions in process of contemporary nano-scale IC design of the radio-frequency subsystems. In first-place effects of non-ideal properties of active elements and parasitic features extracted directly from layout design are considered. Randomness in system parameters are described by stochastic differential-algebraic equations and analyzed by using non-monte-carlo methods, i.e. without generation of population of the solutions. Project admits existence of chaotic attractors as solution of the integrated systems.

Projekt je zaměřen na analýzu, minimalizaci a případnou eliminaci specifických zdrojů neurčitostí a dysfunkcí přímo v procesu návrhu integrovaných radiofrekvenčních subsystémů při použití současných IC technologií. V prvé řadě se jedná o vliv neideálních vlastností použitých aktivních prvků a parazitních reaktančních prvků extrahovaných přímo z navrženého layoutu obvodu. Nahodilosti v hodnotách prvků systému jsou popsány stochastickými algebro-diferenciálními rovnicemi a analyzovány pomocí metod, které nejsou založeny na generaci populace řešení. Projekt připouští existenci chaotických atraktorů jako řešení integrovaných systémů.
