Projekt se zabývá návrhem, případně modifikací stávajících receptur stavebních materiálů surovinami z alternativních zdrojů. Předmětem výzkumu jsou zejména izolační materiály, kompozity pro extrémní podmínky a injektážní hmoty. Navržené receptury budou laboratorně ověřeny s ohledem na podstatné užitné parametry (fyzikálně-mechanické, tepelně-technické atd.) a v případě nutnosti objasnění anomálií či jiných podstatných souvislostí bude přistoupeno k fyzikálně-chemickým a mikrostrukturním analýzám.
