Cílem projektu je spolupráce dvou institucí při výzkumu velkých elasto-plastických deformací materiálu.

Description in English
Efforts are joined by two institutions to perform research in the field of finite elasto-plasticity. The logarithmic XBM (Xiao-Bruhns-Meyers) objective rate and Rougee's metric are employed to propose a general geometric framework. This theory, if successful, will reconcile total and incremental descriptions, being consistent both with the hypoelastic type relations and multiplicative plasticity. Specific material models for metal forming then may be proposed within this arrangement, including theintroduction of damage internal variables and suitable criteria of failure. The models will be implemented in the finite element code PMD available at the Institute of Thermomechanics, using the standard return mapping procedures of numerical integration. As a part of assessment and comparative studies, the latest XBM model should be validated. Material data feed is planned to be accomplished via contact-impact elastic-plastic experiments as in the Taylor test.
