Scientific activities

Risk assessment and management: risk analysis (definition of the assessed area, identification of risk, valuation of risk) with application of qualitative methods (FTA, What If, HAZOP, Checklist, index methods etc.) and evaluation of risk (determining of the tolerable level, analysis of the alternative) with application of semiquantitative and quantitative methods (QRA, ETA, PRA, Purple Book, Uncertainty analysis etc.), risk of the hazardous materials transport, modeling of the accidents with leakage of hazardous substances and their spreading to the environment with application of calculations and software tools ALOHA, RMP Comp, TeReX etc.), safety and security of technological processes, traffic and transport, safety and security management, environmental impact assessment of transport structures, environmental impact assessment (EIA/ SEA), safety and security of critical infrastructure, population protection, crisis management, crisis and emergency planning, environmental damage assessment caused by inorganic and organic pollutants from mobile and stationary sources, proposals of remedial measures, expert activity in the field of environmental safety, environmental forensic, environmental safety, ecotoxicology, pedology.
