Board of Trustees

Mission

The Board of Trustees issues prior consent in writing to legal acts by means of which the Brno University of Technology intends to acquire or transfer immovable property, to legal acts by means of which the university intends to acquire or transfer movable assets valued five times higher than the amount from which on, according to a special regulation, a property is considered a movable property, to legal acts by means of which the university intends to acquire the right of using or the right of pre-emption, to legal acts by means of which the university intends to establish another legal entity, and to monetary and non-monetary deposits in that and other legal entities.

The Board of Trustees expresses opinion on the Long-Term Plan of the Brno University of Technology and on other documents and issues submitted by the Rector or the Minister, on the university budget, annual report and budget report, and on the outcomes of an evaluation of the university, makes proposals and expresses opinion on the university’s activities, and makes them public, and performs other functions in accordance with the Higher Education Act in force.
