Objective of the course – aims of the course unit:
·Making the student acquainted with new technology procedures, application of new materials and stuffs. To the lectures company representatives are regularly invited to demonstrate special application of new materials based on the latest knowledge of the science. Specific characteristics of these materials are referred to as well as possible differences in application compared to traditional technology processes.
|
Objective of the course – learning outcomes and competences:
By mastering the course the students will acquire basic knowledge of new materials applied by building companies. The materials are presented in lectures by their producers together with manners of their application based on scientific knowledge.
|
Prerequisites:
Knowledge of technology processes in inside and finishing works and basic knowledge of the reconstruction of buildings.
|
Course contents (annotation):
·The subject is based on the need to examine properties of new building materials and to examine manners and procedures of their rational production and integration into the building. The construction technology development stagnated for a long period. The construction technology development as a scientific branch is hindered by complexity of analysis of extensive information files. However, without it is not possible to formulate some regularities needed for process modelling.
·The role of the experiment at the development of construction technology is necessary and cannot be substituted.
·Good planner is that one who masters principles of technology of building processes of new and special technologies.
