The study programmes with the given course

Objective of the course – aims of the course unit:
The target of subject is to inform students about drawing in building constructions and variant material solution by simply building construction (family house) to use their knowledges in traversed building constructions, static building constructions, thermal-technics and acoustic characteristics and typology of buildings.
The target is to complete this simply building to present it for building licence.
Objective of the course – learning outcomes and competences:
Student is able to design the complex project of a simple buidling and its constructions and technical drawings in accordance of the technical standard requirements.
Prerequisites:
Methodical and systematic access by conceptual and project work connected by design of building object, knowledge of different plotting and construction norms, legislative foundation for overall design of building object, ability co-ordination of single professions.
Course contents (annotation):
The usage of previous subjects knowledge of building constructions, the architectural and technical design attainments of assigned buildings are supposed in the level of the general technical documentation. The coordinatron of the structural design with individual professions as technical services (heating, ventilation, sanitary systems, water and electricity supply), specification of technological processes, economic appraisal and design of ground works, formation of ground levels and consideration of roads and communications round the design building.

Course curriculum:
1. Introduction, recommended study literature, assignment of a partially submerged family house or a house with the basement (scale 1:200).
2.-4. Architectural sketches and technical studies (scale of drawings 1:100),ground-plans (basement and ground floor, first floor), cross section of a staircase (design and calculation of a staircase). Design of composition of a roof construction and its thermal analysis. Design and calculation of foundations. Elevations. Study of assembly drawing of floor components. Study of details (scale 1:5, 1:10).

9. Site-layout - scale 1:200

11. Cross section - scale 1:50 (recommendation - on the tracing paper F A3 )
12. Technical details - format A4, scale 1:5, 1:10. Technical specifications of joinery, plumbing, locskmith's building products - for one floor, format A4, technical report
13. Classification of practicies (after consignment of complete drawings and technical papers in a packet).

Conditions for the completion of drawings: to use a drafting paper, in pencil - (by hand) format A3, A4, technical papers – drawings (by hand or in graphics editor with help of PC)
