Objective of the course – aims of the course unit:
The basic conception solution and design of water supply and waste-water disposal on urban areas.
Objective of the course – learning outcomes and competences:

The project is focused on municipal water management – design of water intakes, technology of drinking water treatment plants, water distribution networks, sewer networks and wastewater treatment plants.

1. Design of water intake structure. Technology of drinking water treatment plant.
2. Drawing of water intake structure. Flowchart of drinking water treatment plant.
3. Interior layout of drinking water treatment plant, sectional drawings.
4. Conceptual plan of water supply, water demand assessment.
5. Water distribution network plan.
6. Longitudinal profiles of water distribution network.
7. Water distribution network analysis.
8. Conceptual plan of sewer network.
9. Hydrotechnical situation of sewer network.
10. Sewer network analysis.
11. Longitudinal profiles of sewer network.
12. Assessment of basic data concerning wastewater treatment plant.
13. Hydraulic and technological design of wastewater treatment plant.
14. Structural and technological project of wastewater treatment plant.
