Objective of the course – aims of the course unit:
Mastering the rules of pronunciation to the extent of 400 words and basic grammar for speaking in the Present Tense.
Reading skills, translating a simple text, communication of simple information.

Reading skills, translating a simple text, communication of simple information.
Grammar : verbs of 2nd and 3rd group, reflexive verbs, past tense – passé composé, personal independent pronouns, relative and interrogative pronouns, cardinal numbers
11 – 100, irregular plural forms of nouns and adjectives, comparison of adjectives, making
adverbs, ordinal numbers
Vocabulary : telephoning, visiting, TGV trains, letter writing, spending leisure time, travelling.

Course contents (annotation):
Pronunciation: French phonetic system, stress, intonation, linking
Grammar: present tenses of 3 verb groups, making negative forms and questions, polite forms, definite article and indefinite articles, conctraction of articles, making plural forms of nouns and jectives, personal pronouns, interrogative pronouns, imperative.
Vocabulary: introducing, visiting, telephoning, travelling, at the railway station, shopping, weather.
