Objective of the course – aims of the course unit:
Knowledge of general psychology contributes to more complex understanding of human brain and human mind functioning.

Knowledge of general psychology contributes to more complex understanding of human brain and human mind functioning.
Prerequisites:
Passing the BUP1 (Introduction to General Psychology 1) is well recommended, not necessary.
Course contents (annotation):
The course presents the modern, also the classical theories of human mind functioning. Second part (Introduction to General Psychology 2) ties together Introduction to General Psychology 1 . Major subjects are human thinking, reasoning and desicion making, creativity, human inteligence and artificial intelligence. Complete review of human functioning supplies subjects of cognition development, psychology of motivation, emotions and will.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.
