Objective of the course – aims of the course unit:
The subject leads the student towards inventivness and artfulnes free from mere technical
calculability found in books, to pragmatism and experiment and to pushing the imaginary frontier of feasibility towards perfection.

Objective of the course – learning outcomes and competences:
The subject attracts the student's attention from space and layout solution to detail and structural solution of archirtecture. It also puts emphasis on improving the verbal and communication abilities of the creative architect - to push through the construction's detail solution.

Prerequisites:
Expected is parallel work on studio design, creativity and interest in making use of digital displaying and modelling technologies.

Course contents (annotation):
By study of details of individual types of building students get acquainted with the theoretical thinking of creative architect.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes:
On the basis of individual work on the assigned details of a building, quality and ingenuity of the final solution of architectural detail design.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences:
Regular attendence of tutorials. Individual creation of models and details.
