Course detail

Building acoustics and daylighting buildings

FAST-~CH056Acad. year: 2015/2016

his course discusses the basics of building acoustics and introduction to daylighting and insolation of buildings. The acquired knowledge will be used in further studies for the evaluation of the indoor environment in the handling of seminars, projects and thesis. Inside buildings is necessary to ensure acoustic and visual comfort. In terms of protection against noise insulation is necessary to address both vertical and horizontal structures. Horizontal division structures, ie. ceilings, floors, or even below, we shall, in addition air and impact sound insulation. Within the room acoustics is rated enclosed space in terms of reverberation time in the field of urban acoustics rank determining noise attenuation outdoors. Aperture fillings and circumferential roof deck must ensure adequate lighting interer daylight and its insolation.
