The methodology of creation the final assignment

The course is focused on acquiring advanced knowledge about the terms of the final work, citing a presentation. The course provides space for personal experience, the development of self-knowledge and training of basic formal, citation and presentation skills applicable in practice.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The course provides students and students with relevant knowledge and develops the abilities and skills relating to formalities theses. Completion of this course develops the knowledge and skills especially in the area of formal requirements and work in defense of the final work.

In compliance with Bachelor programmes at Faculty of Business and Management, BUT

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course consists of exercises in which students are tested and practically a single citation standards, presentation and acquire formal requirements of theses.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

The credits are granted on the following conditions:
1) active participation in the exercises,
2) processing essay on her thesis,
3) the presentation of the essay.

Course curriculum

The course has the form of exercises. It is allowed only one absence.

Work placements

If a work placement is necessary to have an individual learning plan for approval by the Dean. Essay submission and presentation of the exam period.

Aims

The main objective of the course is to make students familiar with intellectual work methodology, ways of retrieving, processing and use of information, as well as with the formal aspects of the final thesis. It focuses also on mastering basic skills when preparing for, working out and presenting the final thesis.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Submitting the required seminar work (min. 5 pages own coherent theory including min. 1 chart, picture or tables, min. 1 in the Annex, where it will be min. 5 funds) in the period (max. 48 hours before exercise, where the student presents.
Presentation of seminar work within the agreed deadline.
The exercises are compulsory. Absence is perhaps only one workout.
Compensation practice is possible only for compelling medical reasons upon presentation of history from the doctor.

Exercises outline is as follows:
1. introduce the formal requirements of the final work, familiar with the requirements of the credit as quoting by binding to ISO 690,
2. practicing the presentation of theses, give feedback to the seminar work, including warnings about specific bugs that are needed to correct for the credit,
