Original Abstract: Flexible biodegradable polyurethane foams (BIO-PUR) were prepared by one-shot process using commercially available coreactants and modified by substituting biodegradable additive based on the acetylated starch (AS), acetylcellulose (AC), 2 hydroxyethylcellulose (HEC) and carboxymethylcellulose sodium salt (CMC) for 5 or 10 wt% of commercial polyether polyol. The BIO-PUR foams were characterized by FTIR, TGA and polarization microscopy. Resulting BIO-PUR foams were undergone microbial degradation using the mixed culture of Thermophillus sp. and yeast strain Aureobasidium pullulans. Ecotoxicity of BIO-PUR foams freshwater extracts was evaluated using alternative crustacean toxicity test Thamnotoxkit FTM.
Czech abstract: Flexibilní biodegradabilní polyuretanové pěny (BIO-PUR) byly připraveny jednokrokovou technikou z komerčních koreaktantů modifikovaných biodegradabilními aditivy a bázi acetylovaného škrobu (AS), acetylované celulózy (AC), 2-hydroxyethylcelulózy (HEC) a karboxymethylcelulózy (CMC) nahrazující od 5-10% komerční polyéter polyol. BIO-PUR pěny byly charakterizovány pomocí FTIR, TGA a polarizačního mikroskopu. Výsledné pěny byly také postoupeny mikrobiální degradaci pomocí baktérií Thermophillus sp. a kvasinek Aureobasidium pullulans. Ekotoxicita vodných výluhů daných pěn byla hodnocena pomocí alternativního testu toxicity Thamnotoxkit FTM.
