Original Abstract

Human activity recognition (HAR) is an important and growing research area with a wide range of applications, including healthcare, security, and sports. In this study, we classify the various domains of HAR and provide a state-of the-art overview of the approaches used for this task. We also summarize the available RF signal data sources used in HAR and explain the processing and feature engineering of the RF signal data. Finally, the experimental results obtained in our study demonstrate the effectiveness of using Doppler shift patterns extracted from OTFS signal transmissions to recognize different human activities using RF signals.
